About

gHi there!

So glad you stopped by! I’m Chere and I’m a single Christian mom to an incredibly beautiful, talented, sweet, generous daughter named Anya. I started this blog a few years back when I became a single mom. I found on my journey although sometimes painful, uncertain and lonely that I had a partner who would never leave or forsake me, who would provide for my every need and guide me on each step of the way and that was…God. Since then life has been full of surprises and blessings. One surprising blessing was the joy I get from writing this blog and connecting with women all in so many different places. I love reading your comments and sharing with you my life both the highs and lows.

There is so much power in sharing our experiences and our life and I feel so privileged that you all come to this blog to check out what I have to say. I’m in no way an expert on parenting nor am I perfect Christian so I have no qualms about sharing my mistakes and my struggles. But, there is also joy through it all. The most important thing in my life is my relationship with Jesus Christ and being a mom to Anya.

Although in the back of my mind I always knew about Christ, it wasn’t until later in life that I full surrendered my life to him. After many prodigal years God finally spoke so strongly to me that there was no denying  that it was time that I gave my life to him. Every day I’m blown away by his awesome grace and mercy. I’ve especially experienced his presence as a single mom. Wherever you are in your journey I hope to encourage and inspire you, to give you hope that God has your back! You are not a statistic you are a wonderfully, uniquely and beautifully created to glorify him and fulfill your potential as a woman, mother and child of Christ.

Thank you for visiting. I want to hear your voice, your story, and your testimony so please let’s share! God bless you!

Hi! God bless you! I hope you are still responding to comments :). I am a single mom with a load of issues. I am now living with my mom on government assistance that I feel guilty for having. I do not have a car that I can use to take my son to and from and I am basically stuck in the house with him all day. I feel bad for leaving him with other people in my family. I just wanted to get your advice. sometimes I wish God would take me because I wonder why is he still letting me live I’m not a fit mother although I love my son more than anything. I have trust issues with the Lord thinking he wont protect my son. I have looked for jobs but also feel my son is too young for school. If you can offer any insight or advice Please do. Thank you so much and God bless you! – Ebele Okoli
